In 2o\3 he participated in the first workshop organized by Marsad Drâa, studying the relation between the children of Tighmert and the way they occupied the public space, generally, playing.
This workshop taught us, among many others things, how the irrigation system works in the oasis and its implication in the agriculture, the economy, the urbanism, the architecture, the social organization… of the oasis. Thanks to this first research, Rachid has made a installation around a clepsydra, used to control the irrigation time of each plot. The installation also became a place that invited people to sit around, creating unexpected performances.
In parallel he developed some workshops with children, about rammed earth construction and about agriculture with biologist Adil Moumane (Association des Amis de l’Environnement de Zagora).
